Country Traditions will be hosting a wine tasting fundraiser for the Appalachian Women’s Museum Friday, July 25th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the event. Ticket holders will receive samples of wine, gourmet food and a souvenir wine glass.
All of the profits from the tickets sales will go directly to the Appalachian Women’s Museum.
UPDATE: The fireworks display has been cancelled due to rain and will be rescheduled to Dec. 14. The Porch 40 concert will be on Sept. 20.
Come celebrate Independence Day in Dillsboro for a night filled with live music, fireworks and great food. The festivities kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Main Street.
Country Traditions, Dillsboro’s wine and gourmet food shop, is now hosting cooking demos that are free to the community.
The cooking demos are every Saturday evening from April to November. The demos feature live cooking demonstrations using products from Country Traditions, in addition to fresh produce from local farmers. There is always a vegetarian dish prepared and Janet Chinners, co-owner and chef, likes to feature dishes with lots of colors and flavors.
