The 9th annual Western North Carolina Pottery Festival is coming to Dillsboro, NC on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Over 40 master potters from 15 different states will be on hand to demonstrate their talents and techniques. During the demonstrations, festival attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and interact with the artists.
“Our goal has always been to educate the public on the different processes and techniques in clay,” said festival organizer Travis Berning of Tree House Pottery in Dillsboro.
Festival hours are 10 a.m to 4 p.m, rain or shine. All festival attendees receive a ticket for a daylong raffle, while a silent auction benefits a local charity that provides meals to needy families.
Admission to Saturday’s festival is $3 per person, with children under 12 admitted free.
